However, a significant barrier remains: the scarcity of updated, freely accessible learning materials in the Hindi language itself. This paper reviews the current landscape of Hindi NLP resources, focusing on the availability of updated books in PDF format. It categorizes existing texts, evaluates their relevance to modern transformer-based models (BERT, GPT, mT5), and provides a curated list of legally accessible digital repositories. The paper concludes with recommendations for creating localized, open-source NLP curricula for Hindi-medium learners.
