Run a Windows XP virtual machine (VM) inside VirtualBox or VMware. Pass the physical parallel port (or USB adapter) through to the VM. Install the original driver inside the XP guest. Share the printer from the XP VM to the host over a virtual network (using SMB/CIFS). This works but adds latency and a single point of failure. jr10m01 printer driver
