Recognizing the need for a dedicated space for female voices, Noomin, alongside artist Aline Kominsky-Crumb, put together the anthology Twisted Sisters in 1976. It was a landmark all-female underground comics anthology that provided a platform for women to share their stories on their own terms. In 1991, Noomin edited a 260-page collection called Twisted Sisters: A Collection of Bad Girl Art , bringing the work of herself, Kominsky-Crumb, and 13 other groundbreaking female cartoonists to a wider audience.
